For your consideration, a very rare mens novelty four vices coin holder fob in sterling silver and enamel, circa late 19th century German. Piece was made for the French market. The enamel is in overall good condition with mild loss at letters and the four tiny screws. Some denting and scratching noted in photos and the piece needs a replacement bail (or I recommend stringing it on a silver chain using the existing hole). The catch is pretty sticky and the holder is difficult to open so handle with extreme care. I have not acid tested the silver but assume it is. 800 given the German origin. Measures 1.5 inches in length, 1 1/8 inches in width, and 5/8 of an inch in profile depth.
